In South Africa, Mark Glock of GC Biofuels gave an overview on “evaluating effective implementation of biomass gasification projects,” including: Strategies and challenges in the construction of biomass gasifiers; Exploring biomass gasifier operational issues and Insight into the production from manure and farm wastes.
“Rising energy costs, global environmental concerns & increased pressure on operating margins have once again created opportunities for non-traditional or alternative forms of energy to be implemented,” Glock said at the conference. His conference notes can be downloaded here.
