Rockwell Automation optimizing biofuels production process, storage and utilities as Brazilian behemoth looks to EMEA for growth

Grant Watkins of Rockwell Automation surveyed asset optimisation in biofuels, related to process, storage, and utilities utilization. The presentation at 4th African Biofuels, which can be downloaded here, addresses saving in consumption of water, energy and reagents, reduction of waste via applying a zero effluent process, plus dehydration and incineration options.

The presentation offers case study examples at the BENP Lillebonne ethanol plant, and examples based on work with Spain’s 26,000 tonne Bioetanol de la Mancha, Portugal’s Tagol biodiesel plant, and England’s Greenergy’s 100,000 tonne Greenergy biodiesel plant .
