JatrophaBook provides global meeting point for landholders, developers, and online mapping with historical stats

Jatrophabook.com has been launched as a web-based, global meeting point among different actors, giving as well visibility and assistance to small landholder. The site includes historical and real-time generation of maps based on data provided by users and collected from projects.

The maps will allow a clearer understanding of Jatropha projects development, agricultural best practices and achieved results. Plus, Jatrophabook provides satellite images provided by Google Maps, GIS layers (for land cover) and a user friendly mechanism for the exact definition of plantations boundaries to assist in the analysis of deforestation.
