Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22nd – events and activities links

Next Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day, and events are planned around the globe in celebration and observation of the international environmental day founded by US Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970 as a “teach-in”.

The US Government, the EPA and the EarthDay.net organization are just three organizations that have established websites listing events and activities, including “the one billion acts of green” project.
