In the Netherlands, MindsinMoption.net is reporting that the BEST Rotterdam project that aimed to put 950 flex-fuel vehicles on the road by December 2009 has already reached 1,800 vehicles.
The BEST project in Rotterdam did not succeed in its goal to develop an ethanol-powered bus for the city; however, the project has resulted in the establishment of six E85 pumps at three locations around the city.
