Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant voted US’s “biggest biofool” by Friends of the Earth, Rainforest Action Network

In Washington, Friends of the Earth and the Rainforest Action Network announced that, after a multiweek online competition to determine the country’s biggest “biofool”, Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant had overwhelmingly been chose. Kate McMahon of Friends of the Earth said “This result stresses the need for Monsanto to stop promoting biofuels in the face of overwhelming evidence that biofuels are bad for the environment and bad for people.”

Linda Cook, Executive Director, Shell Oil — 18%

Rep. Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD) — 7%
