Biofuels Digest Index gains 1.84 percent to 48.73 on oil, cellulosic ethanol advances

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.84 percent to 48.73 on Big Oil and selected cellulosic ethanol advances. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell advanced 0.17 percent to $23.77, while BP gained 2.96 percent to close at $42.06. Among small caps, Gushan (GU) jumped 10.78 percent to $2.26. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
