Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.80 percent on rising optimism on economy

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.80 percent on rising optimism that the recession may be finding a bottom.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)  closed unchanged at  $24.20, while BP gained 1.67 percent to close at $42.62.  Among small caps, SunOpta (STKL) gained 5.10 percent to close at $1.65.  Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
