Biofuels Digest Index jumps 3.37 percent to 50.65 as recovery hopes swell

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 3.37 percent to 50.65 as oil, grain and ethanol stocks advanced on recovery hopes.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)  rose 3.61 percent to $25.51,  while BP gained 3.32 percent to $43.87.  Among small caps, Cosan (CZZ) gained 6.82 percent to close at $3.76.  Overall, advances led declines 9 to 8 for the day.
