Virgin America becomes first airline to report emissions data through the Climate Registry
In California, Virgin America announced that it has joined the Climate Registry, a non-profit collaborative including of US, Canadian and Mexican states and provinces that has a goal of setting standards for the reporting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions. VA becomes the first airline to join the alliance and voluntarily reports its emissions data.
