USAID publishes free, downloadable report on biomass opportunities in Liberia

In Liberia, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) has released “Assessment of Biomass Resources in Liberia” under the Liberia Energy Assistance Program. USAID estimates in its report what the DOE terms “the valuable biomass resources currently and potentially available in the country and evaluates their contribution for power generation and the production of transportation fuels. It intends to inform policy makers and industry developers of the biomass resource availability in Liberia, and identify areas with high potential.”
