Biofuels Digest Index rolls back 3.46 percent to 54.12 on broad market drop

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 3.46 percent to 54.12, on a broad market pull back that affected energy stocks. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 4.78 percent to $25.68, while Valero (VLO) lost 6.39 percent to $21.81.  Among small caps, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) advanced 19.83 percent to $1.45.  Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
