Biofuels Digest Index gains 1.30 percent to 53.02 on ethanol, oil advances

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.30 percent to 53.02, on ethanol and oil gains. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 1.45 percent to $25.21, while Valero (VLO) regained 3.05 percent to $21.28.  Among small caps, Gushan (GU) leapt 11.89 percent to $2.73.  Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
