Australia announces $243 million biodiesel production plant

In Australia, National Biodiesel announced its plan to construct a $243 million biodiesel at Port Kembla that will be able to supply most of the 5 percent biodiesel mandate imposed by the state of New South Wales commencing in 2011. The plant will be operation the same year and will create a total of 235 full-time jobs and an additional 12000 indirect jobs in services and construction.
