Biofuels Digest Index gains 1.22 percent to 58.94 on algae, oil advances

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.22 percent to 58.94 on algae and oil gains.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) was unchanged at $27.91, while BP gained 1.97 percent to $51.35.  Among small caps, PetroAlgae (PALG.OB) gained 37.50 percent to $11.00. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 4 for the day.
