EPA to hold critical hearings on Renewable Fuel Standard, indirect land use change
In Washington, the EPA will hold a public hearing today regarding the agency’s proposed strategy for increasing the supply of renewable fuels.
According to the EPA, “the hearing is an opportunity for stakeholders and members of the public to voice their opinions on the proposal. EPA will consider written comments submitted during the public comment period with the same weight as oral comments presented during the public hearing.” The hearing commences at 10am EDT and continues until the last speaker has testified.
