Buffalo Biodiesel announces multiple waste grease biodiesel offtake contracts
In Florida, HydroGenetics announced that its subsidiary Buffalo Biodiesel has delivered on yellow grease biodiesel contracts of 375 tons in April, 575 tons in May, and a 500 tons per month contract for June and July, and has signed a 50 tons contract for delivery to the Midwest.
Last December, HydroGenetics announced that it would acquire Buffalo Biodiesel, a New York based biodiesel producer that uses yellow grease as a feedstock. Buffalo Biodiesel which will become a subsidiary of HydroGenetics, is a vertically integrated biodiesel producer with its own grease collection operation.
Among other sources of yellow grease, the waste oil biodiesel producer is co-collecting waste vegetable oil from Buffalo-area restaurants with Green Global.
