US likely to miss 2009 Renewable Fuel Standard target of 10.21 percent, according to Clean Fuels Clearinghouse in “State of the Standard” report
In Texas, the Clean Fuels Clearinghouse in its 2009 “State of the Standard” overview that it appears now to be the very unlikely attainment of this year’s 10.21% Renewable Fuel Standard targets.
The president of the Clearinghouse, Clayton McMartin, testified on Capitol Hill to this effect this week at the RFS2 hearings, and his video is available here.
The Clearinghouse publishes a variety of materials related to the new RFS2 rules. New “Burden of Proof” requirements for all biofuel producers, 4 different product criteria and the associated RIN credits, the 2010 transition period and the changes it brings, and new recordkeeping and reporting requirements are among the topics covered in training materials and webinars.
