Someone worked to create an image that is false: (that ethanol is a major cause for increased food prices and for deforestation in other countries). That’s the real scam. I’m not a conspiracy theorist; I’m a realist. We need to come together as one industry and take back the message.”

Wendy Wintersteen, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University: “Scientists believe that research and innovation will continue to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of biodiesel. With over 100 signatories, this [biodiesel support] declaration demonstrates the strength and breadth of support for biodiesel within the scientific community.”
