In Ghana, the liquidation of Lion Bridge Ventures, parent company of Jatropha Africa, is underway, and its holding in Jatropha Africa is available for purchase.
JA is a pioneer of Jatropha in Ghana using a hybrid developed there. It holds a 50 year lease to 50,000 hectares of contiguous land in central Ghana next to the Volta; ideally suited to Jatropha which is indigenous there. It also holds an option on 70,000 hectares of general agricultural land further south.
A two year 100 hectare producing plantation is in place along with a nursery. The liquidator is www.HerronFisher.co.uk. Further information is available from Graham Cox at Capital Connection, +44 1227 274569
