€50 million Oxem biodiesel plant opens in Italy

In Italy, the 200,000 ton Oxem biodiesel plant in Pavia marked its official opening this week. Oxem invested more than € 50 million  in the plant, which was designed by Desmet Ballestra. The plant commenced test production in February, at an existing chemical site at Mezzana Bigli.

The plant is connected by pipeline to the ENI refinery at Sannazzarro de Burgondi.
