Biodiesel companies pioneer process to assist in meeting ASTM cold flow standards

Schroeder Biofuels has developed a new proprietary multi-stage separation technology designed specifically to ensure that biodiesel products conform to the revised ASTM standard for cold flow properties. Dexter Biodiesel Solutions is an authorized distributor of the technology.

The ColdClear system consists of a three-stage bank of housings using a combination of filtration and adsorption principles to capture compounds that could cause plugging or crystallization in biodiesel fluids.

ColdClear solves the cold soak filtration dilemma in B100 biodiesel and biodiesel blends in a single pass with less than a .001% yield loss. There are variable sizes ranging from 25GPM, 50GPM and 100GPM+.
