Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.41 percent to 54.47 on ethanol, oil tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.41 percent to 54.47 as ethanol and oil fell. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.79 percent to $26.75, while BP fell 2.40 percent  to $45.93.  Among small caps, Green Plains (GPRE) gained 7.26 percent to $7.24. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
