In Mozambique, Companhia do Buzi and Galp Energia announced plans to construct a jatropha- and sunflower-based biodiesel refinery project that will be located in Sofala province. The project is expected to be completed in 2019, and commenced with the planting of 271 acres of jatropha and 63 acres of sunflowers on a pilot basis.
