Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance Visionary award goes to Reverb co-founders for sustainable music tour efforts
In Michigan, the 2009 Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance Visionary award was awarded to Reverb Co-founders Adam Gardner (Guster Guitarist/Vocalist) and Lauren Sullivan. Honorary Board Chairman, Willie Nelson , made the award at the Rothbury Music Festival. Reverb educates and engages musicians and fans to take action toward a more sustainable future, through their website www.reverbrock.org and work with music tours. To date, Reverb has helped tours source over 376,000 gallons of biodiesel and prevented over 62,000 tons of carbon from being released into the atmosphere. Online biodiesel mapping system www.nearbio.com also received a visionary award from the SBA for work in the field of sustainable biodiesel.
