“Complete Training Guide for Ethanol Emergency Response” released

In Washington, the Ethanol Emergency Response Coalition (EERC) has released the Complete Training Guide for Ethanol Emergency Response, to help prepare ethanol producers, transporters and first responders.

The package includes two videos, an instructor’s guide, interactive workshops and seven modules and PowerPoint presentations, all available for download here. Guidelines are also given for fire departments and first responders that have ethanol production facilities in their communities. The EERC was formed by the Renewable Fuels Association, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, the International Liquid Terminals Association, Ansul Fire Protection, Industrial Fire World and Williams Fire Hazard Control.
