In Texas, Hilton Americas-Houston has converted its fleet to a biodiesel blend, seven tons of waste cooking oils recovered from its food service operations. The hotel has been using a tolling arrangement with an unnamed biodiesel processor to convert the oils to biodiesel. The hotel also has earned a silver-level Green Seal certification for meeting the requirements of the Green Seal Environmental Standard for lodging.
