In Iowa, Renewable Energy Group (REG), said that it will officially open its biodiesel and feedstock research and support lab for its seven network production plants, and others in the industry, on July 28th. The research center in Ames will study more than 25 biodiesel feedstocks including coffee bean oil, jojoba, coconut and karanja oils.
Renewable Energy Group markets REG-9000 biodiesel through existing nationwide diesel infrastructure, including more than 20 terminal locations. REG-9000 biodiesel is produced by REG network production facilities using multiple-feedstock technology.
