CalPERS invests $60 million in Khosla Ventures Seed Fund

In California, it was revealed that the California Public Employees’ Retirement System is the source of as much as $60 million of a $250 million (to date) seed-stage fund raised Khosla Ventures. CalPERS manages $179.2 billion as of the end of 2008. Khosla Ventures has not publicly indicated targets for the new Khosla Ventures Seed LP fund.
