In Colorado, Rocky Mountain Sustainable Enterprises announced today that it has signed an offtake agreement with Gray Oil Company to supply up to 4.5 Mgy of biodiesel over three years, with a total deal size of $5 million at current energy prices. RMSE’s Colorado bioXchange refinery at Fort Morgan, a $5 million project that breaks ground this fall, will supply the fuel.
The offtake agreement represents the total capacity of the plant, which will use waste cooking oil as a key feedstock.
