St. Louis emerges as early leader in “King of Algal Energy” survey; poll continues this week

St. Louis has emerged as the early leader in the “King of Algal Energy” survey, with 76.3 percent of the votes to date. The survey asks Biofuels Digest readers to rate which city they believe is the leader in the development of algal-based biofuels. In second place is San Diego with 12.7 percent of votes, followed by 4.5 percent for Seattle and 3.6 percent for Silicon Valley. Other responses make up the remaining 4.5 percent.

The survey will remain open through the end of this week and winner announced on the US Labor Day. The poll is here.
