The Minnesota Project, a group that promotes the sustainable production of food and fuel whose board is composed primarily of sustainable farmers and consumer activists, released a study titled “Transportation Biofuels in the United States: An Update,” which covers research advances in cellulosic ethanol, corn ethanol and algae biodiesel.
The report also covers issues such as Food versus Fuel, Indirect Land Use Change, Soil and Water, Invasive Species versus Native Species, and Monoculture versus Polyculture.
