In Georgia, Georgia Public Broadcasting ran an update on the failure of E85 to gain traction in the state, despite a government policy encouraging E85 with incentives to convert pumps, and tax breaks for ethanol producers. However, the E85 installation program has resulted in only 23 pump conversions to date, and an official at the Department of Administrative Services described E85 for Georgia as “not cost effective”.
