Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.70 percent to 64.44, 3.5 points shy of 12-month high

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.70 percent to 64.44, just 3.5 points below a 12-month high, as a summer rally in renewables stocks continued. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) increased 1.08 percent to $29.01, while BP rose 0.16 percent to $55.04. Among small caps, Cosan (CZZ) advanced 3.76 percent to $8.28. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
