Verenium’s 1-12 stock split leads to temporary NASDAQ symbol change

In Massachusetts, Verenium announced a 1-12 stock split became effective on September 10th. Verenium’s shares will continue to trade on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol “VRNM”, with the letter “D” added to the end of the trading symbol for a period of 20 trading days to indicate the reverse stock split has occurred.

The Company’s symbol will revert back to its original symbol “VRNM” on October 7, 2009.
