Biofuels Digest job portal receives 600 visits in first weekend

The Biofuels Digest jobs portal got off to a roaring start Friday with.

The first job posted by a Digest subscriber after launch, a fermentation engineer position at Arbor Fuel, received 87 detailed views and 8 applications, while other new jobs received a total of 400 detailed page views from more than 600 readers accessing job listings.

Biofuels-related career opportunities available include from plant managers, supervising engineers, post doc research associates, O&M Managers, cost controllers, fuel calibration technicians, DDGs sales reps, research scientists, supply chain management, and operations management.

Employers on the database at launch
include Synthetic Genomics, Chevron, Green Plains Renewable Energy, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Verenium, Valero, Washington State University, ADM, Booz Allen,  World Wildlife Fund, University of Idaho and Sandia National Lab. Jobs are available across the US, and international jobs will be supported commencing September 17th.

Access to job postings is free, and available at biofuelsdigest.jobamatic.com. Biofuels employers will be able to post jobs for free through 12/10/09 by using the promotion code BDpromo1. Jobs posted directly through the Digest will be prioritized in the job display.
