Sustainable Biofuels Lab launches to accelerate commercial-scale biofuels, seeks collaborators
In California, the Sustainable Biofuels Lab, a multi-stakeholder effort to accelerate the achievement of sustainable biofuels production at commercial scale, is seeking the involvement and participation of other stakeholders interested in working collaboratively toward achieving the goals of the lab. This collaborative effort is being sponsored by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, The Nature Conservancy, and The World Wildlife Fund, among others and will be administered and facilitated by bio-era and Reos Partners.
The first lab workshop is scheduled for December 1-3, 2009 at the Sofitel Hotel on San Francisco Bay. This 2 1/2 day workshop will work to establish a shared understanding of the current and future situation pertaining to sustainable biofuels production through the use of scenario planning methods.
