Pacific Rim Summit to feature algae biofuels program

In Hawaii, the Pacific Rim Summit – a conference organized by BIO for Honolulu from Nov 9-11, 2010- will feature a series of programs on the state of algae-based biofuels development.

Topics include “International Developments in Algae Commercialization,”, “Status Report from Algae Biofuels Producers,” “Challenges in Algae Conversion of CO2,” and “From Algae to Energy – Integration of Technologies to Capture the Value of Renewable Hydrocarbons”.

Speakers include Jonathan Wolfson, Solazyme; Bertrand Vick, Aurora Biofuels; Martin Sabarsky, HR BioPetroleum;  John Benemann, Benemann Associates; Valerie Reed, US Department of Energy; and Mark Tegen, Inventure Chemical.
