Methes Energies files for IPO

In New York, Methes Energies International announced today that it filed a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. All of the shares of the common stock are been registered on behalf of selling stockholders who purchased their shares in private placements in 2007 and 2008. Methes Energies will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.

A registration statement relating to those shares has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.

In 2007, Methes Energy introduced the Denami 600, a compact, fully automated continuous flow, multi-feedstock biodiesel processor which meets or exceeds current ASTM standards. The Denami 600 can produce a total of 1.3 Mgy of biodiesel.
