Biofuels Digest Index drops 1.90 percent to 65.21 as ethanol declines

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.90 percent to 65.21 on ethanol declines.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.91 percent to $30.38, while BP recovered 0.11 percent to $55.48. Among smaller caps, Syntec Biofuels (SYBF.OB) fell 55.56 percent after announcing a name change to Synthenol and an expansion into producing energy from non-renewable sources. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
