50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy: first ballots received; subscriber voting to begin November 16
In Florida, Biofuels Digest offered an update on voting procedures for the 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy rankings, and said that it has commenced receiving ballots back from its international panel of selectors.
SELECTOR PANEL VOTING
Selector voting will close on November 23, 2009.
SUBSCRIBER VOTING
Subscriber voting will commence on November 16, 2009, and continue through November 25th.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The rankings will be officially announced on December 1, 2009 at 9am EST
ELIGIBLE SELECTORS:
Only the invited selectors and the 12,800+ subscribers of the Digest e-newsletters are eligible to vote in this year’s rankings. Digest readers who are not e-newsletter subscribers (i.e. the 30,000 monthly website visitors and 2,000+ RSS readers) will need to register for the newsletter in order to vote.
Note: Only individuals may request to be added to the Biofuels Digest subscriber list. Companies that subscribe large blocks of employees, investors or other friends (in the guise of individual requests) for the purpose of influencing the Hot 50 vote, are subject to disqualification.
DATA BOOKS FOR SELECTORS:
219-page Selector Data books have been delivered to the international panel of Selectors, and will be released in a modified version to Digest subscribers on November 16th. The Data books include results from the Hot Fuels, Feedstocks and Technologies poll, and profiles of all last year’s Hot 50 plus 188 pages of profiles of companies that did not make last years’ list.
Note: Supplementary Data will be released on Friday November 6, 2009 including companies that missed the original profile submission deadline.
