Biofuels Digest extends “50 Hottest Companies” subscriber voting as web traffic surges

In Florida, Biofuels Digest announced that subscriber voting in the “50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy” competition will be extended two days, and will now close at 5pm EST on Wednesday, November 25.

Reader traffic for voting has been building substantially over the past few days, and the last-minute voting will now be spread over the next three days to keep the Digest’s servers from keeling over. [Sunday's traffic to the Digest website - 30,000 page views - was double the normal rate for a weekend, and an overall 70% increase in overall web traffic in megabytes compared to 11/15/09.]
