Envirotek launches biodiesel plant in California with 7.3 Mgy planned capacity
In California, Envirotek announced that its Extreme Bio-Diesel facility in Corona is now producing at a capacity of 1.46 Mgy and will expand to 3.65 Mgy in Q1 2010 enroute to a planned capacity of 7.3 Mgy. ENVIROTEK is a certified state and federal biodiesel facility enrolled in the government renewable energy carbon credit program, receiving an additional $1.33 per gallon for every gallon of ASTM Biodiesel produced.
The company said “Extreme Bio-Diesel’s SEMA 2008 Award Winning “Extreme Extractor” Portable Bio-Diesel refinery systems, manufactured at the Corona facility, recently increased manufacturing capabilities of the products to accommodate recent inquiries from web-based storefronts and the company’s website.”
