Finland’s Metso, UPM to test bio-oil for power, heat
In Finland, Metso and UPM announced a joint project to produce bio-oil from wood biomass for power and heat generation. UPM said that it is also testing cellulosic ethanol production, and that a test of bio oil would commence at the Metso plant in Tampere this month.
