In Massachusetts, BP has invested an additional $22.5 million in Verenium and formed a joint venture with the cellulosic ethanol pioneer to commercialize Verenium’s cellulosic ethanol technology.

BP, Berkeley alliance funded $20 million in R&D projects in first year
In California, the Daily Cal released a review of research progress from the $500 million UC Berkeley research deal with BP. The director of the Energy Biosciences Center, DR.
