Shell acquires Brazilian aviation fuel unit from Cosan for $73.8 million
In Brazil, Shell has acquired the aviation fuel distribution unit from Cosan for $73.8 million. Cosan acquired the unit when it purchased the retail distribution unit of ExxonMobil for $1 billion. Shell said that it has sold more than 400 million gallons of aviation fuel in 2008 at more than 50 Brazilian airports.
