Badger State Ethanol catches fire; 65 firefighters control blaze after eight hours
In Wisconsin, Badger State Ethanol in Madison caught fire, and 65 firefighters were called in to control the blaze. It took eight hours to bring the fire under control, but no injuries were reported from the fire, which spread from the germ dryer and bagging processor to other equipment. The plant was substantially damaged.
