PetroAlgae closes $10 million round of financing
In Florida, PetroAlgae announced that it had raised $10 million from a financing round with two undisclosed investors. The investors purchased 3.2 million shares in the pioneering algae-to-energy company. Florida’s HydroGenetics to acquire Buffalo Biodiesel
In Florida, HydroGenetics announced that it would acquire Buffalo Biodiesel, a New York based biodiesel producer that uses yellow grease as a feedstock. Buffalo Biodiesel which will become a subsidiary of HydroGenetics, is a vertically integrated biodiesel producer with its own grease collection operation.
