Global Biofuels to commence biofuel production from safflower, sweet sorghum in Nigeria

In Nigeria, Global Biofuels announced plans to commence production of 7 Mgy of ethanol and biodiesel from sweet sorghum and safflower, respectively in December 2009. The company said that it will establish small bioreactors in nine states and will produce fuel for transport as well as the power industry.
