Full-Time Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for constructing a waste to fuel facility. Primary area of responsibilities include: Construct a commercial fuel facility and manage the ongoing operations. This position is expected to manage the resources needed to develop and operate the commercial facility, including all technical and commercial aspects. This position must also be responsible for hiring the technical staff; dealing with government officials; and business development activities. Starting level of position will be based on relative experience of the candidate.
•EDUCATION: Technology related education. An MBA or equivalent industry work experience preferred.
•EXPERIENCE: 5+ years leadership experience, ideally in the construction and commercialization of fuels facilities. Chemical or petroleum industry with permitting experience desirable. Prior experience in operations is a requirement, with a preference for candidates who have experience in operations for commercial technologies.
•SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated track record of success in construction and operations of commercial waste to fuel projects including: Project Management, budget, schedule, milestones and reporting. Proven leadership skills. Must have technical competence (knowledge of fuel business platforms and processes, products, catalysts and unit operations). Effective thinker and problem solver. Creative innovation coupled with business acumen, planning abilities and organizational skills. Teams work (both in leadership and contributor roles). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to move projects forward.
